Welcome to the stud Bönniger!

Located in Tönisvorst, Germany, our stud is Home of about 60 ponies. All of them born and raised on our own big fields. It is important for us to let the youngsters grow up slowly in a herd to learn from each other and just let them be a pony. While breaking them in and also later in their education we always pay attention to let them improve their potential within the time they need and give them our support without overwork them. That is the reason why we show our youngstock not at an age of 2,5 years at the stallion licensing but later when they have built some muscles under the rider and grew into their bodys. Our goal is to form brave and kind sportponys with great genes who can easily be handled and ridden by children. On the other side they give their new owners the opportunity to start into a sporty career together and getting at the top of the FEI sport.

This sustainable method shows it’s success while having a look at Golden Dancer, Dornik B, Deinhard B, Adriano B and 12 ponys more who won 69 medals at the european championships.
Since 1995 our stallions took part at european championships . This gave the new owner the opportunity to build on with the former success the ponys had with our riders and trainers (like Deinhard B). The fact that our ponys won numerous medals with different riders and trainers confirms ourselves again their good quality and interior.
But there is also the opportunity to buy and promote earlier and in the long term like Dujardin B. He was bought at the age of 4 and Linda Erbe rode him 6 years. They were part at the european championships and became german champions. We wish for having a long partnership like this with our ponys.
